mission statement and who cannot afford to hire an attorney. EJF does not
restrict its cases based on age, disability, national origin, race,
religion, sex or sexual orientation.

Our Intake Specialist will conduct a phone interview to gather
information about your legal needs and your contact information. The
Intake Specialist is not an attorney and cannot give legal advice.
The attorneys meet regularly to discuss all potential cases and to decide
whether we can accept your case. Usually within two weeks, the Intake
Specialist will contact you. If we agree to take your case or if we need
more information from you, we will ask you to come to our office to meet
with the Intake Specialist or an attorney. If we are unable to represent
you, then we will attempt to refer you to other legal assistance
providers.
